The chosen candidate will be responsible for:

• Preparing quality and safety vehicle checks on vehicles pre delivery
• Inspect vehicles, together with clients before the vehicle is taken and on return
• Yard organisation and ensuring that the rental fleet is kept up to standard
• Actively participate in continual improvement of working practices
• Any other duties which may be assigned by management

We are currently looking for a Full time Parts Shop Assistant to join our team.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Greets and assists customers with their purchases and provides answers to their queries
• Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
• Preparing goods for dispatch and creating the necessary paperwork
• Dispenses parts to the service department and body shop
• Assists in stock taking activities
• Reconciliation of daily sales including handling of cash
• Maintains accurate documentation in line with company procedures
• Receiving stock items, entering items in system, printing barcodes and stacking items on shelves

The ideal candidate should:

• Be Customer Oriented
• Be Computer Literate, online sales experience (like e-Bay, Malta Park etc.) will be considered as an asset
• Must have good mechanical knowledge (good understanding of vehicles & parts) will be an asset
• Have good communication skills, both verbal and written in English
• Be Flexible with their work schedule, to meet the needs of the business.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Greets and assists customers with their queries
• Arranges and books appointments for services and repairs
• Opens service books and writes a detailed description of problems and repairs
• Keeps records of works that have been carried out and ensures that system is updated and accurate
• Uses their knowledge of our products and services to cross-sell to clients
• Checks vehicles In/Out when they arrive and updates the system accordingly
• Consult with workshop managers about necessary repairs and vehicle statuses, and ensures that vehicles will be ready for customer on time
• Advises clients of diagnostics results, giving details of any immediate action to be taken on repairs and of future works which may need to be done for the longevity of the vehicle
• Calls clients to collect vehicle upon completion of service / repairs carried out

• Have an O Level standard of education

• Invoices clients and receives payments for products and services
• Advises and cross-sells the company’s products and services
• Responsible for vulcanizer/s working under his/her supervision
• Places orders for tyres and manages tyre inventory
• Takes part in stock taking activities
• Responsible for his/her store appearance, cleanliness
• Keeps records of the work that has been carried out and updates the system accordingly

The ideal candidate should:

• Be Computer Literate
• Be Highly organised
• Have an O Level standard of education
• Have good communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Maltese

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Good fault finding abilities and knowledge to repair refrigerated vehicle systems
  • Installs new refrigeration units in a timely and proficient manner
  • Determines unit condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests to identify worn and/or damaged parts
  • Working in a professional environment
  • Participates in training and educational opportunities provided by the company
  • Demonstrates ability to work with other team members and learn from experienced technicians
  • Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned by management

The ideal candidate should:

  • Experience in similar posts will be considered an asset, especially experience in Carrier Transicold units
  • Basic computer and data entry skills for Windows based software programs
